A Soul-Searching, Life-Changing Question...

Do you realize that God has fashioned you to be ultimately unsatisfied apart from a relationship with His Son, The Lord Jesus Christ? Do you realize that the spiritual Roman Road to peace with God, as revealed in the New Testament, is a far more durable road than the literal Roman Roads of long ago?

Let us take a moment or two and travel along the spiritual Roman Road. You will note that there are five important road signs on this road. So let us begin our journey and let us follow the directions on these five road signs.

The First Road Sign = The Problem of Sin

Romans 3:23
"...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,..."

The Second Road Sign = There is a Savior

Romans 5:8
"But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

The Third Road Sign = Sin's Penalty and Salvation's Provision

Romans 6:23
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

The Fourth Road Sign = How to Experience Peace with God

Romans 10:9-10
"That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."

The Fifth Road Sign = The Assurance of Salvation

Romans 10:13
"...for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

Now that you have traveled along the spiritual Roman Road and carefully read the soul-searching road signs, why not pray this life-changing prayer, a prayer that will result in you no longer being alone on the road of life for now God will live in your heart through the Spirit of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Dear God, I confess that I have sinned against You. I am deeply sorry for my sins. By Your grace and with the help of Your blessed Holy Spirit I now turn away from my sins. I ask for Your amazing forgiveness. I now receive the Lord Jesus Christ as my One and only Savior and as my absolutely trustworthy and always constant guide who will lead me as I continue my journey through life. Amen!
